The Play -
The Nukkad 'Patan' revolves around one of the oldest, but the invincible enemy of mankind - Violence. Taking you through a journey from historical wars to modern-day conflicts, the street play tries to explore the extent, this "violence" has crept into our lives in various forms without being noticed, from daily news of sexual violence, child harassment, domestic violence to the terrifying reality of wars and terrorism, from religious and communal riots to corrupted politics, the demon has left no breathing space for love and mankind.
Is violence a human tendency? Or is it just the demon overhead? Can violence be sometimes necessary and profitable? Or is it always destructive? - The Nukkad urges you to dig deep inside your thoughts and get answers to similar questions!
